Here’s How to Become an Agent with us:

Step #1: Here’s what we’ll need from you to begin the onboarding process:

  • Complete Howard & Howard Insurance Agency agent intake form
  • List of carriers you wish to be appointed with (you will get e-contracts sent to your email directly)
    • Once you have begun the contracting & appointment process with each carrier, you will also need to submit the following:
      • Current E&O Insurance
      • License for ALL states in which you wish to operate
      • Current year AHIP & Fraud, Waste, & Abuse Completion Certificate

Step #2: After you’ve been appointed with the carriers you want and have successfully completed their required certifications, you will schedule a meeting with Brent Howard (in-person, via phone, or via a GoToMeeting) to create an individual and customized business plan for your market.

Step #3: Carrier Product Training Schedule (within specified market) and participate in carrier opportunities (if  and when applicable)

Step #4: Execute on marketing business plan throughout the year. This segment will include in-field marketing support, event support, etc.

Step #5: You’ll receive ongoing check-ins by Brent or one of his support staff to see if we can assist you further with your development and growth in your selected market(s).
